Tyler Kundera is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from Bridgeton, NJ who attends Cumberland Co Tech Ed Ct. Medium, broader frame with some present strength throughout and room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.50 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Simple, repeatable operation with a balanced leg lift and good lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 80s throughout his outing, generating easy life through the strike zone and topped out at 86 mph from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in two-plane breaking ball and killed spin effectively on his changeup to disrupt timing. Displays aptitude to throw all three of his pitches in any count and will continue to add velocity in the near future. High upside remaining on the mound. Secondary first baseman with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Showed agility around the bag and a clean funnel out in-front, while delivering fairly accurate throws up to 82 mph during drills. Took part in the outfield portion of the workout as well, where he similar fundamentals to field properly off his front foot and maintained momentum into his throws. Generated arm strength up to 86 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open base with tight hands and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half movements to generate torque, while flashing some quickness to his hands. Intent based stroke with uphill swing path and strength at impact when on-time. Whole field approach with loudest impact to the pullside, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments. Versatile, young prospect with two-way upside and projection remaining. Good Student.
