Juan Luis Rivera Jr is a 2026 C/1B/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Divine Savior Academy. Recorded an 8.12 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with some present strength, especially in the lower-half. Starts slightly staggered with feet behind the plate and employed a methodical transfer. Showed solid arm strength and one hop accuracy. Also worked out in the infield and displayed good feel for the glove. Used good footwork and fundamentals while throwing accurately across the diamond. Right-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with even feet and a deep hand set. Showed heaviness to the hands and low effort power. Worked the other way with comfort and carry to the opposite field gap. Repeated the swing well and the stroke is simple and easy.
