Alexander Haine is a 2026 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lawton Chiles. A taller frame with a medium build. Room to keep filling out. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Worked out as an outfielder with athletic actions and a quick release on his throws. He worked into the throws well with an uphill release, getting throws around the bag. Threw 79 mph from the outfield. Also threw 79 mph while working out as a first baseman. Fields the ball up the middle with two hands keeping throws on target to second and third during his reps. Moved well off the bag. A right-handed hitter who showed off good intent behind his swings during his round of BP. He starts pretty upright and straight. He was aggressive with his rotation and able to produce line drives during the round. Produced an 80 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a left-handed pitcher with some strength behind his throws. Works on the third base side of the rubber and stretch only. Starts with a small step into a knee above the belt leg lift. Had a medium arm action from a three-quarters slot as he moved down the mound. Stays in line and finishes in a good position. Repeated his actions well out of the stretch. His fastball worked 76-79 mph while getting up to 81 mph. The heater had arm side run to it, and he was comfortable throwing it to both sides of the plate. Started at-bats with the fastball, turning to a curveball later to keep hitters off-balance. The breaker was up to 67 mph with 1-7 shape. The curveball had nice bite to it and was able to induce swings and misses when located below the zone. Started at-bats off with the fastball and went to the breaker later in at-bats. Punched out 7 hitters over 3.0 innings pitched during his outing. Excellent student.
