Zack Wasson is a 2021 2B/SS/OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Glasgow, KY who attends Barren County. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.73 in the sixty. Has good feet and good overall athleticism in the infield, soft hands at the ball, moves to the ball well with good fundamental footwork, makes accurate throws with second base arm strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly crouched and open stance, rotational upper body swing, can improve his lower half use but stayed balanced well and showed a short compact swing with some bat speed for his size. Good athlete who will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Excellent student.
