Carter Dennison is a 2025 C/IF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Rossville, TN who attends First Assembly Christian. Recorded a 7.93 sixty yard dash at the event. Smaller athletic frame with easy moving levers and room to fill out. Primary catcher. Medium base. Sits back to receive and transfer. Footwork is average with some ground gained toward second base. Slower actions that will continue to develop as more quick-twitch is added to the frame. Secondary right-handed pitcher. Throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot with easy actions on the mound. Crossbody arm action with horizontal deception for hitters. Higher knee to chest leg lift who works down the mound inline. Strike thrower with slightly below average offerings on the mound. Right-handed hitter. In the box, Dennison hits from a medium base with a longer loading process. High hands setup with a high back elbow, as well. Jumps off the backside, causing early contact out on the front side. As he stays more balanced in the box and grounded, results will continue to improve. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
