Beckett Denton is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Matthews, NC who attends Weddington High School. Taller frame with some present strength. Ran a 7.59 sixty yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, small side step in the wind with a knee to belt leg lift, slight hesitation at the top of leg lift, stays tall throughout delivery, fastball peaked at 87 mph with cutting life at times, compact arm action with fast hand speed, minimal use of the lower half with a violent lead leg block, developing feel for a short slider in the low 70's. Also worked out in the outfield and infield, arm strength carried over into drill work. Right handed hitter, wide base with a still hand start, short and direct swing path, line drive contact to the opposite field.
