Carson Cruse is a 2024 RHP/2B, 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Lake Mary Preparatory. A slender build and lean frame. Higher set waist. Primary right-handed pitcher. Uses a side-step into a leg lift just above the belt while working from the wind-up. He pitches from a high three-quarters arm slot. He has a shorter and speedy arm stroke through release. He hides the ball well through the back as he gets into the delivery. The fastball was up to 80 mph and had some heavy-ness to it. He also landed a bigger 12-6 curveball at 67 mph with good depth. He was able to locate it in the lower half of the zone and below, landing it for strikes. Good student.
