Isaac Malone is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Berkeley Prep. Long and lean young build with lots of time to get stronger. 7.25 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up balanced behind the plate, has some quickness in his actions, gets some carry on his throws, tends to stand straight up to throw with limited lower half gain, did a really nice job of handling mid-80's velocity, projects well defensively as a catcher. Also worked out in the outfield and has the athleticism to play there as well. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with a big barrel wrap and a big back tap load, lots of busy timing elements to start his swing, throws his hips aggressively, has some looseness in his swing and extension out front, best contact was to right centerfield, got some jump when he was able to get the barrel out front and pull it. Good young athlete who will continue to improve.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
