Alexander Wize is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-5 170 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Burke. Large frame with a slender build and room to continue to add moving forward. Ran a 7.14 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a side step overhead delivery into a leg lift above the belt. Lands slightly closed off down the mound and gets back across the front side. Long arm action in the back into a three-quarter arm slot. Fluid circle and into release. Fastball creates cutting action with consistency topping out at 86 miles per hour. Fills the zone and produces outs. Also worked out defensively as a secondary first baseman. Aggressive to the ball fielding with a deeper funnel. Works well off the bag with an idea with footwork. Clean releases with some arm strength at 79 miles per hour. Switch hitter with an upright slightly open and narrow stance to start.
