Dawson Buss is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Tulsa, OK who attends Broken Arrow HS. Recorded a 7.66 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with athleticism and room to fill out. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a low three-quarters arm slot. Pitches exclusively from the stretch with a smooth delivery and good balance. Online with good extension. Poised on the mound and the fastball shows hard sink. Curveball has some slurvy action to it and the operation is very low effort. Works to both sides of the plate with good control. Arm strength plays from secondary position of first base. Lefthanded hitter with a wide, even stance and shows some bat speed. Spread stance with a fairly consistent bat path. Good bat to ball skills with a contact oriented approach. Good student.
