Cole Lingerfelt is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Lake Creek. Medium athletic build. Big backward lean in his delivery, long arm action in back, straight over the top arm slot, has some deception to his delivery. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with occasional arm side run, arm tends to be late due to his length and mechanics and his fastball is often up in the zone, could have big downhill angle with adjustments. Curveball shows big 12/6 downer depth when he stays on top of the pitch at release. Developing consistency in his mechanics will be key as there is arm strength there. 7.03 runner, same long and loose arm action from the outfield with a big crow hop and low carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and open stance, middle of the field contact approach with good feel for the barrel, gets out on his front side early. Very good student.
