Drue Osbourne is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from La Grange, KY who attends Oldham County. Medium frame with a young, somewhat stocky build. Ran a 7.55 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball before working through it. Gathers deep in his stance and then works into his transfer. Releases uphill and was accurate around the bag as he threw it 73 MPH across the diamond. Secondary Righthanded Pitcher, working primarily from the stretch as he went on to show a balanced, repeatable motion. Shorter take away and then delivered from a three-quarter slot while getting extended out front as well. Good three pitch mix as he threw them all for strikes. Fastball was up to 73 MPH and he mixed in a good curveball that showed some depth. He also flashed a changeup that had some late life as he tunneled it well. Competed during his outing on the mound and went right after hitters. Righthanded Hitter, starting from an open stance before working into a bigger leg kick and stride. Bat speed showing as he got the barrel into the zone quickly and stayed long through it. Middle of the field type approach as he found barrels consistently. Great Student.
