Cole Moore is a 2025 C/UT with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Van Meter, IA who attends Van Meter. Long athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a simple low hand load, has good rhythm to start his swing, sinks into his hips well and fires his hips, showed some lift in his swing and looks to drive the ball in the air, gap to gap approach, can extended through the ball better out front, good hitting skills/tools to continue to develop. Primary catcher on defense, has good lower half actions receiving and throwing, quick release on his throws with developing arm strength, can get off direction and off balance with his upper half in his catching and throwing actions. Good student.
