Cole Ivady is a 2024 RHP/SS with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Wilmington, NC who attends Eugene Ashley. Medium frame with lean strength to the frame and more coming. 7.33 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary right-hander with obvious athleticism in the operation. Side step to a belt high lift, loose arm action to a high three-quarters slot, creates easy extension down the slope. Gets on top of the fastball, resulting in easy riding action through the zone, up to 89 mph (1922 RPM). Lived in the 87-89 mph range through his three innings. Curveball has two-planed depth and ability to land it in any count, up to 72 mph (2027 RPM). Also threw a changeup in the mid-70s (1380 RPM). Struck out eight of the nine batters he faced. Right-handed hitter with a straight, narrow stance. Toe-tap trigger with good bat speed and power to all fields. Strong player that had loud barrels in the round and in game action. Secondary middle infielder, with very athletic actions, hands work well out front with a good arm across, recorded throws up to 85 mph. Also worked out in the outfield, charges in under control, fields it with one hand to the side, throws have true flight out of the hand and accuracy right to the bag. Throws up to 86 mph. Good Student. Named to 2022 Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
