Jaxon Valdez is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Queen Creek, AZ who attends Higley. Features a large frame. He offers a three-pitch mix that includes fastball, slider and change up. He throws out of a 3/4 slot with good downward tilt. His slider has sweeping action and he threw if effectively. His fastball produced a bunch of ground balls. At first base he showed proper footwork and glove mechanics. He moved well laterally with accurate double play feeds. At the plate he has a wide stance and takes a direct path to the ball. He has quick hands with the ability to barrel consistently. He is an excellent student.
