Joshua Minami is a 2022 OF/LHP with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Fremont, CA who attends Valley Christian Schools. Small and athletic frame with room to add strength. Ran a 7.21 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, rounds and attacks the ball well with looseness and fluidity to his footwork, fields it cleanly and carries momentum through well with developing arm strength on accurate throws. Also pitches, stays compact through the back with some angle to his release, fills the zone with a two-pitch mix that includes a slider with some short tilting bite to it. Left-handed hitter, sets up slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow. Stays short to the ball with his hands, turns the barrel over early and shows comfort working to the pull side of the field with low line drive contact. Very good student.
