Brooks Winer is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Daniel Island, SC who attends Bishop England. Medium to Large frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.30 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a full windup. Longer side step to a coiled chest high leg swing. Drops into the back leg and drives down the hill. Released with intent as he was up to 84 mph. Fastball sneaking up on hitters as he hides it well. Pulls across the body as tunneled his two pitch mix well. Slider with tight spin showing depth in the low-70's. Upside on the mound present. Secondary Third Baseman, quick first step proving to have lateral range. Confident with the glove as he scooped it up and released quickly. Accurate throws with arm strength present up to 79 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out and sitting down in the stance. Bat waggle as he works into no load before striding out. Relies on hands to generate bat speed as he stays linear through the zone. Outstanding Student. Named to National Underclass Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
