Storey Abernathy is a 2023 OF/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Westminster Schools. Tall, lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.04 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder who moves well laterally, displays present agility, and fields out front with a one-hand gather. Feel for the glove present. Quick transfer to throw. Produces accurate throws to bases with carry present at 74-mph. Right-handed hitter, with a low-handed, even base stance in the box. Swings with bat-speed, taking a level to high, linear swing plane that impacted pitches out front with extension. Created hard, line-drive contact that worked the middle of the field with backspin for carry. More power will come as he matures. Great student.
