Tony DiChiara is a 2024 C/1B, OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Toms River, NJ. Works from a larger sturdy frame with present physical strength. Primary catcher, side saddle stance, quick out of the set, shows urgency behind his movements, quick transfers, throws were right on the bag and showed life, recorded arm strength up to 75 mph and a pop time of 1.95. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow base with high hands, toe tap trigger, creates separation, tons of bat speed and quickness in the hands, can launch baseballs from gap to gap when timed up, projects well as a hitter, recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Ran a 7.57 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
