Jordan Goldstein is a 2025 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Rye Brook, NY who attends Iona Preparatory. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.44 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, stays back on the ball, shows looseness to arm action, clean overall actions; graded best in the outfield, attacks the ball well and shows range, fields it out front and works through the ball, shows accuracy on throws from a higher slot, arm strength will continue to develop. Also pitched, side step moving into a high leg lift, gathers on backside with drop and drive lower half mechanics coming down the mound. Clean arm action working to a three-quarters release point, creates natural cut to fastball and lands on line down the mound; curveball shows 2-7 shape with some depth when on top, comfort to pitch backwards and filled the zone. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate; utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Long swing path through the zone, creates contact out front and shows a handle for the barrel. Works to all fields, occasionally gets inside the ball, works on a linear plane and projects with added strength.
