Grayson James is a 2023 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Lee Davis. Medium frame with young, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.05 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high back elbow, leg lift trigger, line drive swing plane, whole-field approach, torques hips well into swing, good contact skills, projects well for power as he gains strength. Primary outfielder, waits back on the ball, fields cleanly and makes solid transfers consistently, gets into good position to throw, clocked up to 69 mph. Also took infield reps, fields cleanly out front, shows athleticism to footwork, works through the ball well and stays balanced, clocked up to 69 mph on throws across the infield with good accuracy. Very good student.
