Brody Mathis is a 2024 2B/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Decherd, TN who attends Franklin County. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.53 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, good first step actions as he worked into the baseball with urgency. Young glove work as he scooped it up and worked into transfer. Proved to be accurate with throws as he was up to 67 mph across the diamond. Secondary Outfielder, proved to have feel for the footwork as he worked into the baseball. Side gather as he slows momentum down to make sure of a clean transfer. Released from a lower slot as he threw it 63 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out a bit to start as he works into stride. Linear path as he stays direct to the baseball and looks to impact out front. Proved he could find the barrel and work the gaps with liners. Good Student.
