Rylan Folds is a 2023 RHP/INF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Meansville, GA who attends Pike County. Medium frame with a young, lean build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.00 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a short side-step to a belt high lift as he stays balanced throughout the motion. Drops the back leg and then works down the hill. Releasing from higher slot as he gets extended upon the release. Fastball working uphill as he was up to 73 mph. Mixed in a breaking ball in low-50's as well. Secondary Infielder, showing athletic actions as he works around the baseball fluidly. Clean gather out front before working into transfers. Accurate around the bag as he threw it 67 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with weight on the back side and then strides out while keeping it there. Stays linear through the zone as he looks to drive it back up the middle and did so with success. Relies on upper-half to generate pop in the bat.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
