Jackson Sammons is a 2025 RHP/2B, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Savannah, GA who attends The Savannah Country Day. Ran a 7.40 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with large frame and thin build with room to fill. Slow tempo to his full windup that featured a three-quarter slotted release. Flexibility to get over his front side and pull down the mound creating a direct line to the plate. On-line delivery aided control of repertoire producing strikes often with his three-pitch mix. Pitched off a fastball at 81-mph with life through the zone. Curveball at 69-mph with tight rotation and 11/5 action with depth. Changeup had sink and arm speed for sell at 74-mph. Secondary outfielder with developing feel for the glove and clean gather out front creating a direct line to bases with smooth footwork. Three-quarter release produced throws at 79-mph. A right-handed hitter with square setup and hands high in his stance. Level to high path with rhythm and timing through the zone and forecastable strength. When lower half was involved, more line drive result out front to the gaps. Excellent student.
