Charlie Lods is a 2026 C with a 5-9 215 lb. frame from Rockville Centre, NY who attends Archbishop Molloy. Works from a broader frame with physical strength present throughout. Primary catcher, starts in a higher side saddled stance, gains ground well on the gather, utilizes a direct midline transfer that works into a shorter arm stroke, showed a natural feel for the position, recorded arm strength up to 75 mph and a pop time of 2.08. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow upright stance, utilizes a simple stride to the point of launch, works into an uphill stroke, has tons of strength in the hands, creates good whip to the barrel and uses the whole field, offers intriguing power potential, recorded an exit velocity of 95 mph. Ran a 6.72 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Seton Hall. Named to the 2023 Northeast Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
