Jose Lopez is a 2025 3B/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Westminster Christian. Big and strong athletic build. Primary third baseman on defense, has easy and fluid hands fielding the ball, balanced charging and changes his arm angle well, has big arm strength and carry when he's on top of his throws, can quicken his exchange and release. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and narrow straight stance with a hanging leg raise load into his swing, foot timing and hip timing intensive swing, has lots of raw bat speed and the ball comes off well when everything is synced up, looking to lift the ball. Excellent student.
