Jose Leon is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-1 230 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends St. Brendan. Medium to large frame with a stocky build. Ran a 8.25 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he gathers out front. Young footwork around the bag. Threw it 66 mph during drills. Secondary Third Baseman, waiting for the baseball as he scoops it up. Works into transfer with extra steps before release. Threw it 68 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, wide base with high hands to start before striding out. Looks to stay on top of the baseball and pull it for power. Some strength in hands present and proved to have some thump when he timed it up properly. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
