Michael Marchese is a 2025 OF/RHP,UT with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends St. Joseph by the Sea. Marchese works from an athletic medium build with additional room to fill out the frame. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, he worked through the ball well with direct routes and smooth transfers, ultimately topping out at 81 mph. He repeated the arm action well and consistently put throws on the bag. Offensively, Marchese started from a wider slightly open base with a lower hand set to produce consistent contact to the pull side of the field. He flashed lightning quick hand speed through the zone and successfully got the barrel out in front, posting an exit velo of 86 mph. Ran a 7.57 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
