Waldo Rodriguez is a 2022 C/RHP, 2B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Fresno, CA who attends Fresno. Ran a 8.42 second sixty. Primary catcher with some present strength on the frame. Does a nice job getting rid of the ball quickly behind the plate, gains rounds into the throw while receiving the ball close to the body and transferring into a longer arm action with a 2.06 seance pop time. The glove plays well out front on the infield waiting back to play the ball before creating momentum into the throws with a shuffle showing average arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even stance and low hand set, showed some strength at the point of contact creating carry to the pull side that showed up in game action and will only improve as he continues to improve the bat speed through the zone.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
