Landon Clayton is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-11 215 lb. frame from Carrollton, GA who attends Carrollton. He ran a 8.01 second sixty. A primary infielder with a larger frame. On the infield he showed corner infield type of range moving laterally. His footwork around the ball is fine and the glove works well out front. In the outfield he comes and gets the abll with good intent filling the ball out front, he showed some arm speed getting under the ball at times. On the mound he showed a controlled delivery with a short simple movement as he could still get more out of the lower half as he comes down the mound. The fastball sat 71-74 mph with young command and will get better as he gets more out front. Right-handed hitter, starts with an open stance getting the lower half going early as he clears space to get the bat head out front with an uphill bat path. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
