Antonio Barnes is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Highland, IN who attends Andrean. Medium frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.24 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with smaller leg lift trigger, physical strength stands out, lifts and separates pull-side with authority, exit velocity recorded up to 87 mph, power to pull-side stands out, impactful offensive profile. Worked out in the infield, clean hands coming through the ball, hands do work well, developing consistency to footwork, gets rid of it quickly from lower slot, clocked up to 78 mph on throws across the diamond. Very good student.
