2021 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Adrien Clark is a 2022 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Evans, GA who attends Augusta Preparatory Day. Big high waisted young build with plenty of strength potential. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a big lower half drift into contact, spread at contact, long and extended swing, throws the barrel out, mid field to pull side contact. 8.59 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman at present, has first base skills and tools, best defensive tool is his hands. Also pitched, worked from the stretch with a low effort delivery and a compact mid 3/4's arm slot that hid the ball well, very repeatable mechanics. Mid-70's fastball, gets consistent hard running action on his fastball and threw the pitch for strikes. Still working on getting out front consistently on his curveball but flashed good spin when he was. Can get outs on the mound with his movement and strike throwing ability. Good student.
