LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 Jr. National Showcase
Zion Theophilus is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Moeller HS. Projectable frame and build with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Leg lift up past the belt with an athletic gather and working down the mound. Present arm speed with the ability to maintain stuff throughout the outing. Two distinct sliders with feel for both. One featuring sweep and the other featuring depth, both look the part of future swing-and-miss offerings. Flashed a changeup that was firm for whiffs against left-handed pitcher. High octane stuff at present with potential for a true swing-and-miss arsenal.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
