Mickey Case is a 2024 C/1B/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends American Heritage. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 7.70 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, receives the ball cleanly behind the plate, good exchange and release, gains plenty of ground throwing, makes accurate throws, consistent in his receiving and throwing mechanics, well schooled and fundamental. Also plays some first base. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, loads back to get on line and tends to stay on his backside, hands are short and direct through the zone, has some uphill plane and lift in his swing and can put the ball in the air. Excellent student.
