Curtis Rinne is a 2028 C/1B/OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Winter Springs. Medium, compact frame with some present lower half strength and room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.57 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a higher, slightly side-saddled stance with soft hands and fairly direct midline transfer. Gains ground out of the crouch efficiently, works into a shorter arm action and showed arm strength on his throws with carry. Recorded arm strength up to 71 mph during drills. Secondary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Comes and gets the baseball with longer stride, fields off his front and used a crow-hop to gain momentum into release. Showed some arm strength up to 76 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Intent based swing with elongated swing path and some lower half torque into contact. Inside hand path with mostly opposite field impact, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Developing prospect with some upside remaining, will continue to expand overall tools with proper refinements and physical maturity.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
