Deyus Rowe is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 187 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Lake Nona. A taller frame with a higher set waist. Has some strength present as well. A primary left-handed pitcher who throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a big leg lift up around the letters. He uses a longer arm stroke with some whip to it, working out of the stretch. He's long through the back with a full arm stroke through release. The fastball was firm, working 86-89 mph and spinning above the 2,402 RPM range. He also flashed a 2-seam fastball in the low-80s for the most part with arm-side life to it; he would run it on the outer third of the plate against right-handed hitters for success. He had two different breaking balls he relied on. The curveball was in the upper-60s with spin up to 2,238 RPMs with big 11-5 shape and great depth to it. He also flashed a slider up in the low-70s with more lateral break and sweeper traits to it, spinning up to 2,521 RPMs. He also pronates and lets the change fall off the table at 78 mph with spin down to 1,567 RPMs. Really solid outing on the mound with pitches that have intriguing movement profiles. Projectable tools on the mound moving forward. Good student. Named to 2023 Sunshine East Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
