Cam Moran is a 2024 C/UT with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Newmarket, NH who attends Newmarket Jr.-Sr. Medium, compact frame with some lean muscle in his lower half and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.69 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that receives from a lower, slightly side-saddled stance with segmented glove work and uphill movements out of the crouch. Displayed a direct mid-line transfer and worked into a short, compact arm action. Recorded developing arm strength up to 68 mph from behind the plate during drills. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and added strength. Left-handed hitter that hits from an open stance with lower, forward hand set and a leg lift trigger. Contact oriented stroke with slightly elongated swing path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Stays short and direct with the barrel and displayed a pullside approach. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and physicality. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
