Jack McWilliams is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from San Marcos, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced set up, gets to his front side early, loose and extended swing, works gap to gap and will lag the bat head and shoot the ball the other way, flashed some impact and carry when he turns the barrel, hits patient and under control, showed his speed well on the bases, projects well at the plate. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball with easy athletic actions, fields the ball cleanly out front, developing arm strength with some tail on his throws from a lower arm slot. Also pitched, has a leg tuck and turn delivery, hides the ball well in his takeaway, extended 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked up to 85 mph with occasional arm side life. Curveball was his best pitch in quality and command, flashed a change up. Excellent student, verbal commitment to San Diego.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
