Jake Ondich is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 6-3 230 lb. frame from Palm Beach Gardens, FL who attends William T. Dwyer. Tall and broad frame with lots of current strength on the build. Ran a 8.03 in the sixty yard dash. A primary first baseman, has a timing mechanism with his glove and extends out front to create a good squared position to field. Can change arm angles while throwing to bases. A right-handed hitter, starts slightly open with the base and stay on top through contact. Leverages the barrel out front well with a good contact point that allows easy lift. Very consistent barrel that should easily translate to games. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
