Drew Wells is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Round Rock, TX who attends Vista Ridge HS. Recorded a 7.84 second 60-yard dash time. Stronger frame with good size and room to fill out. Primary left-handed pitcher with a full arm stroke through the back with a soft stab. Three-quarters arm slot and turns over the arm to sink the fastball hard. Lands open and worked in the mid-70s. Showed a full pitch mix with a breaking ball and a changeup. Projects nicely once he starts getting into the lower half. Arm strength plays from secondary positions of the outfield and first base. Left-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Good extension and leverage out in front with power to the pull side. Power oriented approach and execution. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
