2023 PG Underclass All-American Games
Damian Montanez is a 2025 OF/MIF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Killeen, TX who attends Shoemaker. Features a well-proportioned frame with room to add strength down the road. Worked out in the outfield and showcased a really fast arm with an over the top slot. The ball jumps out of his hands. He showed athleticism and feel for the position. At the plate he has a wide base with high hands. He uses a simple turn into contact with an up the middle approach. He showed strength in hands with the ability to generate from his lower half to find barrels throughout the round. He is a good student.
