Brady Ericson is a 2025 LHP with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Brooklyn, CT who attends Woodstock Academy. Extra-large, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a high waist, plenty of room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, lower effort operation on the mound, works to a high three-quarters to an over-the-top release point; worked around the zone nicely with fastball-curveball combo. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, mostly true in life, pitched to contact, flashes extension out front; nice feel to land curveball with 1-7 shape, pitch will continue to develop nicely with additional arm speed moving forward, projects with added strength. Fields the ball out front with two hands, longer and full arm action on throws across diamond, works on top of throws. Left-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a tight hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Keeps hands inside the ball, shows quickness to them and can continue to implement additional separation out front. Creates some lift to swing, works the middle and pull side parts of the field, simple stride, shows some present jump off of the barrel when squared. Named to Fall Connecticut Top Prospect List.
