Jacob Oropeza is a 2026 1B/RHP with a 6-1 197 lb. frame from Whittier, CA who attends La Mirada. Recorded a 7.84 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman with a physical frame and present strength. Showed good bounce to feet and looked comfortable around the bag at first. Displayed good arm strength and clean glove work. Right-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with even feet. Stayed in sync in the lower-half and impacted the ball hard on a consistent basis. Showed great strength at the point of contact and went to the opposite field with ease and significant pop. Also pitched and used a methodical crossfire delivery. Ran the fastball up to 80 mph and commanded it to both sides of the plate. Curveball showed 11-5 shape and flashed a changeup with subtle fade.
