Daniel Pratt is a 2024 1B/3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Oak Ridge. Medium, bulky build with well proportioned strength throughout the frame. Recorded a 7.84 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base and high hands set in the stance. Bat wrap load, has good bat speed and whip through the zone. Elongated path at times, flashes the ability to hit the ball hard to both gaps. Recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Primary first baseman, has athletic movements bouncing off the bag, quick turns, feeds the double play well. Fundamentally sound actions, fields the ball out front, quick exchange and on-line throws. Developing arm strength and consistent accuracy. Throws across up to 71 mph. Also pitched, works from the stretch only with a preset hip hinge load. Hands start at the front hip, medium arm action to a three-quarters release. Fastball plays true with occasional arm-side run, up to 74 mph (1805 RPM). Has good feel to spin a curveball with downer shape, up to 65 mph (1730 RPM).
