Hudson Day is a 2024 1B/LHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley West. Medium build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.37 seconds. A primary 1B, he showed soft hands that worked well to both sides of his body, especially on the forehand play. His top throw across the infield was clocked at 68 mph. With the bat, he hits out of a square, spread out stance with a high back elbow setup. Has a flat bat path through the zone and uses a middle of the field approach. On the mound his FB topped out at 69 mph while flashing arm side run. His CB showed 2/7 shape and flashed some bite to it. Still developing his overall feel for landing his offerings in the zone. Excellent student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
