Andrew Barr is a 2026 1B/RHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lake Brantley. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a short stride into contact, stays directional into contact well, has fast hands and gets the barrel into the zone and out front on time, turns the barrel nicely for his age, has the beginnings of some bat speed with lots more to come, very projectable young left handed hitter. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Has soft hands and nice glove work at first base defensively, plenty of arm for the position. Also pitched, works from a full delivery with a high knee raise start, long arm swing in back to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph and was mostly straight, also threw a soft curveball with 2500+ spin. Good student.
