2022 South Prospect Showcase
Bryan Chabaud is a 2024 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 201 lb. frame from Hempstead, TX who attends Waller. Posted an 8.11 in the 60. Physical build with flashes of strength he should build on. Primary backstop showed sound fundamentals behind the dish with the arm working well, should continue to refine the whole process smoothly with present accuracy. On the mound the right-hander topped the fastball out at 78 with some feel for the breaking ball offering. Stays rhythmic through operation with short arm action. Developing sync across actions with feel for the zone and mix. Right-handed hitter is a strong look with some good impact to both gaps. Repeatable and athletic swing with good strength controlling the barrel. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
