Sean Buchanan is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-7 132 lb. frame from Northport, NY who attends Northport Senior. Recorded a 7.92 second sixty-yard dash time. Slender, high waisted frame with long levers and plenty of room to physically mature. Primary catcher that receives from a slightly side-saddled stance with soft hands and a direct mid-line transfer. Uses step-and-replace footwork out of the crouch, while working slightly uphill into release. Recorded arm strength up to 70 mph from behind the plate during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Hands driven swing with some present bat speed and whip to his barrel. Developing feel for the barrel, drifts early to his front side occasionally causing some timing issues. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and better timing. Plenty of physical projection remaining. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
