2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Jake Gaskill is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Gaskill immediately impressed with a 6.62 sixty yard dash time, showing off the speed tool that effortlessly translated into all aspects of his game. As a primary OF, he got behind the ball well with calculated mechanics to generate throws up to 79 mph. No surprise that range is a big factor in Gaskill's game. The righty also topped out at 79 mph on the mound, flashing a compact 3/4 slot with early signs of arm speed. He has room to further work down the mound and add to the velo numbers. Offensively, Gaskill started from an even base with evident hand speed through the zone to produce carry to the middle pull side of the field. He created solid line drive impact when on time, posting an exit velo of 81 mph. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
