Maddox Husband is a 2022 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Slender long build with plenty of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with limited lower half shift, rotational upper body swing with his weight on his back side, uphill swing with a pull side approach, bat speed should keep improving with additional strength and some lower half adjustments. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has a good loose arm action and developing young arm strength, tends to stop his momentum moving into his throws. Also plays some first base. Took a turn on the mound, tall and fall delivery with some energy at release. Fastball worked up to 71 mph with occasional cutting action, also threw a 1/7 breaking ball and threw strikes with both pitches. Good student.
